Monthly activity sheets for prison learners
Our 2020 Koestler Awards deadline may have now passed, but we are continuing to share regular activities with prison learners and anyone who needs them. All you will need is a pencil and some paper to get started.
In response to the coronavirus lockdown, between April and July 2020 we created and shared weekly activity sheets with simple creative tasks to help inspire learning in prisons and secure settings and encourage entries for the 2020 Koestler Awards.
Starting from August 2020, new Art Aid sheets will be released every month and will feature activities set by Koestler Arts staff, mentees and alumni, as well as stories from former Koestler entrants.
Thank you to education provider Novus for their help distributing these to their learners through in-cell screens and paper packs.
If you’re an education provider or prison arts organisation, please download, share and use the sheets below. Please do let us know if you are using them to help your learners or if you have any questions or feedback.
